2009 - 2010 Season
Volunteer Lifeguards patrol Mangawhai Heads every weekend and public holiday from 24th October 2009 to April 5 2010. Patrol hours are 11.00am–4.00pm during October, November, March and April, and 11.00am–5.00pm during the busy months of December, January and February.
Professional Lifeguards patrol Mangawhai Heads Monday- Friday from mid-December to late January. Professional Lifeguards patrol from 10am-5pm daily.
